  • Many participants across our program ecosystem must complete an annual community service project. If you are unsure whether your program (BELIEF, Free Minds, and I Can Teach) requires this, please direct all questions to Mahalia Banton. Upon completion of the project, you must submit a scanned and signed PDF of the attached Annual Community Service Project Completion Form to the All Rise Program Portal. Failure to complete a community service project by May 29th of each year could adversely impact your direct cash assistance for the upcoming school year, resulting in a delay, pause, or forfeiture of your award.

For reference, the community service project must:

    • Be at least 90 minutes long

    • Completed with a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization

    • Completed within fall or spring semester

To upload your Annual Community Service form in the  All Rise Program Portal, please follow the steps linked here.

Note: Community service projects with for-profit organizations or government entities that are not nonprofits will not be permitted.
