Building the Pipeline

The education pipeline at We Will All Rise (All Rise) was designed to address the critical underrepresentation of men of color in the teaching profession. Drawing on experience in secondary education, All Rise built a system to expose young men to teaching, provide the support needed to succeed, and sustain their growth as classroom leaders. Through initiatives like I Can Teach, the BELIEF Fellowship, and the Black and Brown Men Teach Campaign, All Rise has created a pathway that guides young men from exploration to career readiness. This pipeline not only cultivates future educators but also strengthens communities by ensuring students see and learn from teachers who reflect their identities and experiences.

2025 free m.i.n.d. collective evaluation

This independent evaluation, conducted by the Wisconsin Evaluation Collaborative, highlights the impact of We Will All Rise’s Free M.I.N.D. Collective—a program dedicated to increasing college graduation rates among young men of color through mentoring, direct cash assistance, and professional development workshops. Drawing on surveys, focus groups, and program data, the report shows that participants experience strong academic persistence, financial relief, and a deep sense of community. Mentors and students alike value the program’s flexibility, personalized support, and focus on shared cultural experiences. With high year-to-year retention and graduation rates, the Free M.I.N.D. Collective is proving to be a powerful model for student success and long-term achievement.
