2025 I Can Teach Summer Institute Narrative
The 2025 I Can Teach Summer Institute trained eight college-aged men of color to deliver over 1,000 hours of classroom instruction to 135 students across Baltimore and Milwaukee. Through coaching, mentorship, and hands-on experience, Fellows built skills and confidence as future educators while providing children with powerful role models who reflect their identities.

Building the pipeline
The education pipeline at We Will All Rise addresses the underrepresentation of men of color in teaching by guiding them from exploration to career readiness. Through programs like I Can Teach, the BELIEF Fellowship, and the Black and Brown Men Teach Campaign, All Rise equips young men with the exposure, support, and mentorship needed to thrive as educators, strengthening schools and communities through representation.

2025 free m.i.n.d. collective evaluation
An independent evaluation by the Wisconsin Evaluation Collaborative found that We Will All Rise’s Free M.I.N.D. Collective significantly boosts college persistence and graduation among young men of color. Through mentoring, cash assistance, and professional development, participants gain financial stability, community, and personalized support, making the program a proven model for student success and long-term achievement.

A Blueprint for Resiliency and Advancement in the Midst of Change.
We are proud to share Still Rising 2030, We Will All Rise’s new strategic plan shaped by deep listening, rigorous analysis, and the collective wisdom of our community. Over the past year, staff, board members, students, alumni, donors, and partners came together through surveys, interviews, and reflection to help chart our path forward. This plan is both a mirror and a roadmap. It reflects who we are today and outlines how we will grow stronger, more sustainable, and more impactful through 2028. At its core, Still Rising 2030 is about building the infrastructure, storytelling power, and systems needed to ensure our mission continues to thrive for generations to come.
