THE CONTEXT
Middle and high school are critical years for boys of color, yet many lack consistent, culturally responsive mentorship that affirms identity, builds confidence, and supports academic growth. Systemic barriers and inequitable school experiences often lead to disengagement during adolescence, just as expectations increase. We Will All Rise addresses this gap by investing early in mentoring that strengthens leadership, belonging, and long-term postsecondary and career pathways.
what we do
100 MORE (Mentoring Others Raising Expectations) is a relationship-centered male mentoring program for middle- and high-school boys of color. Through curriculum-based weekly sessions led by trained mentors, participants build social-emotional skills, academic confidence, leadership, and a strong sense of purpose. Grounded in mentoring best practices, 100 MORE connects young men to future opportunities across the All Rise pipeline, including Black & Brown Men Teach, I Can Teach, postsecondary planning, and the BELIEF Fellowship, reinforcing the belief that when one rises, we all rise.
