promises made
We Will All Rise (All Rise) was born from what seemed like an impossible dream. Can an organization support young Black and Brown men every step of the way in their educational and early career pursuits? Can we provide resources and supports so that young men are not only accepted in college but rather attend, thrive, and graduate from college? Could the young men truly count on us to address the needs they identified most crucial to their personal and professional growth? These were the questions and challenges that gave birth to All Rise; a charge given to us by young black and brown young men in the Fall of 2019, which at the time seemed virtually impossible to face. But we said, Yes. We promised to support the educational goals of young men who dared to dream beyond their current circumstances. We promised to provide financial assistance to young men who needed it the most. We promised to surround our young brothers with a strong network of mentors and resources that would empower them as individuals, as professionals, and as engaged citizens within our communities.
promises kept
Fast Forward three years to today, All Rise continues to fulfill the promises of the young men we serve. We are unwavering in our commitment to all young men that enter our circle, sustaining an 83% retention rate, indicating a robust pipeline of future graduates and career professionals for years to come. Perhaps most importantly, we’ve been fortunate to grant nearly $450,000 in scholarships and financial assistance to our young men in just three years. Our work has proven that the dream is in fact possible and is coming true!
