Boston University School of Social Work Macro Practice Intern

Jaela Rodela is a macro practice social work intern at We Will All Rise, supporting organizational growth and sustainability efforts through donor engagement, impact measurement, and strategy development. Jaela’s passion for organizational-level change grows from her extensive background in child welfare, education, and work with young adults experiencing homelessness. Through advocacy, community outreach, and program engagement, Jaela has made an impact in various positions she has held. She notably implemented initiatives designed to increase corps members’ experience and strengthen program participation during her service with City Year Jacksonville. This later inspired her to pursue a career advocating for the well-being of children and families as a child welfare case manager. Jaela currently works with young adults experiencing homelessness in Jacksonville, FL, continuing to engage with external partners and support leadership in the evaluation of client outcomes. She enjoys teaching math and science part-time as an elementary guest educator. Jaela is pursuing a Master of Social Work degree at Boston University and holds a Bachelor of Psychology.
