MAHALIA BANTON

Coordinator of Programs & Community Partnerships

As the Program and Development Coordinator, Mahalia is responsible for assisting with the planning and coordination of all programs, and their activities, in addition to the coordination and execution of assigned grants. The position also takes the lead in being the direct point of contact for participants across multiple programs, ensuring that all candidate-facing communication and interactions are positive and that prospective and current participants are fully engaged and informed of pertinent information at all times. Mahalia brings years of experience in scholarship programs and managing foundations striving to achieve racial and economic equity. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Amherst College.
